*****UPDATE!!!!!!*****

Greetings parents and students from 10th and 11th grades!

As established in a previous post, ***emails regarding student work is only to be sent on Fridays from 8:00 am-3:00 pm. Furthermore, ***there is a specific format to follow when creating the email. It is imperative that rules and instructions are followed as established.

I have been receiving students work outside of Fridays as well as outside established hours. Please keep in mind that an email address can receive various emails at once, and if a work is sent during a period that was not established, the email might get lost. In addition, the format established is to maintain academic order and structure.

For questions and doubts regarding school work, feel free to email me when you can. Please keep in mind that after certain hours of the afternoon and evening you may not find me available at some points due to the fact that it is already a personal time of the day to do other certain things.

Stay safe!

Greetings parents and students. The Department of Education of Puerto Rico has been adapting to the changes of the times because of the COVID 19. Everything has been digital since this disease arrived at Puerto Rico. Because of this, sending the activities you have worked with will also be sent digitally through e-mail.

Instructions on how to send the activities through e-mail:

The activities you have realized you will send it through the email prof.sosa07@gmail.com

In the title, you will state: Name, Grade, Group, and Evidence of classwork

Example: Michael J. Sosa, 10-2, Evidence of Classwork

You have various choices of sending your work: if you worked on it in computer format, you may upload the documents through the e-mail. if you worked on your notebook, you may take pictures of the work you have been doing, upload it and send it through e-mail.

NOTE: If by any chance your e-email message is too big to send, you may create another e-mail message with the rest of the material missing.

Message in the e-mail letter:

State your name, grade and group (yes, repeat it).

The date to start sending the classwork realized will be on Friday, April 17, 2020, from 8:00 am – 3:00 pm.

***THIS DOES NOT MEAN THAT THIS IS THE ONLY DATE TO SEND THE WORK!

From now on, every Friday from 8:00 am – 3:00 pm you may send the material that you have realized as classwork. Why Friday and why the hour established? This is to maintain control of the flow of e-mails messages that enter the e-mail. If it is sent at another hour, it may get lost with the other flow of e-mails of other communications of students.

In any doubts, you may write to the teacher.

March 27, 2020 Post

To all the parents and students in the Department of Education of Puerto Rico: good evening and greetings. Please expect new material for grades 10 and 11 on Tuesday, March 31th, 2020. As you all know, Puerto Rico is in a state of lock down and curfew because of the Coronavirus. For those reasons, the DEPR has determined that students are to take classwork in their houses. For the time being, this blog will serve as the primary means of communication between the teacher and the students for classwork.

Until this moment, the secretary of education has issued the order that the students will not have a time limit to hand in their works. Because of this reason, the students will do their work and send it when they can and/or have finished. Starting Tuesday, March 31st, 2020, students will receive new orders regarding all work pertinent to the English class that will follow strictly this rule made by our secretary. Remember, it is important to keep updated in all the news regarding the DEPR and to keep on track with the work given by the different teachers.
